Debt FAQs
Which is the best option to get out of debt?
That will depend entirely upon your circumstances. With a small amount of debt it is entirely possible for you to manage this yourself with revised budgeting.
High interest, short term debt, such as credit card debt, can be dealt with via a low interest debt consolidation loan taken over a longer period to reduce (and simplify) your monthly repayments.
For larger debts with multiple creditors the best option is usually debt management or an IVA. Both of these involve writing off a proportion of your debts which is a great help in becoming debt free.
